Strangford and Ards Cycle Navigation

Two nights accommodation, use of a high quality 21 gear Road Touring Bicycle with helmet, locks and panniers and one Sat Nav Receiver per group.

Using a GPS Satellite Navigation Receiver, follow a series of scenically stunning routes through these parts of undiscovered East Down and the Ards Peninsula. The routes have been pre-programmed into the Navigation Receiver to include points of interest and beautiful places to stop and have a bite to eat. The package includes full instructions on the use of the receiver, a print-out of the routes and a map. The Routes will be themed from general sightseeing to the places associated with St Patrick and Christian Heritage and even the locations mentioned by Van Morrison in his song "Coney Island". The beginning and end of each tour is the beautiful Village of Strangford where one can set of to explore the Lecale District of Co Down and it's amazingly quiet country roads or cross over the short ferry trip to Portaferry to explore the uniqueness of the Ards Peninsula.
